ABOUT: Clarks Hill Beekeepers Association

Purpose:  Our purpose is to further the knowledge of Apis Mellifera the Western Honey Bee.  We are a local group of fellow bee keepers from the surrounding counties and communities of the CSRA.  As a hobbyist or commercial bee keeper, together, we can better understand this superorganism and how it interacts with our environment.

History:  This Association was organized on May 5, 2008 by a local group of beekeepers in Lincolnton Georgia, led by Chuck Carroll. The meeting took place at the Lincoln County Club House. We appreciate Chucks effort and willingness to get this organization up and running with the help of Monty Stephens, the Lincoln County Extension Agent.

Location: We meet at 7:oo P.M. on the first Monday of every EVEN month. We meet at the Columbia County Extension office at 6420 Pollards Pond Rd. in Appling off of Highway 221.  See the Club Location page for a map.

Membership: Membership is open to the public, anyone may join our organization. Annual dues are $15.00 per person or $25.00 per household.  These funds are used to further the education of members and the public through civic groups. It will also allow us to help the state level organization that funds research. Membership Form
